The Cimarron Chaco Institute was founded in May 2023 at the request of Totobiegosode-Ayoreo community members in Paraguay to assist them during a health emergency. Focused on the crossroads of public health, environmental stewardship, and sustainable livelihoods, the CCI works through specific projects whose terms are developed in collaboration with our long-term community partners. The CCI also serves as a fiscal sponsor for select community-based initiatives that align with its mission. We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization registered under section 501(c)3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code.
